with the sun shining in the morning, i went around the neighborhood to see how it held up.  aside from a few fallen trees, everything was ok.  after, i rode into the city to meet up hao and co. for some tourist action.  it feels good not to be bounded by the mta.  

braving the weather before irene arrives with a few laps around central park.  honestly, it’s not that bad…yet.

this one was from last sunday.  i met up rachel to help her with a  photo shoot for lavanya and pranat’s upcoming wedding.  

i did the brewster ride with the korean posse yesterday.  word of advice, never walk on gravel with your road shoes, never drop your leica camera, and never walk on train tracks.  that shit will definitely get you killed.  other than that, it was a good, easy 58 or so mile ride through the forest.  

i headed back out to brooklyn after the bbq to bid farewell to one of the more creative person i know.  we should have definitely hung out more.  good luck out in chicago.

bbq or an attempt to bbq at rox’s apt in downtown.  unfortunately new york weather didn’t want to cooperate with us.  oh well, pizza with good company was more than enough.  happy birthday rox…

i rode to staten island today.  i wish i would have brought my camera because i saw what could have been awesome shots.  next time i suppose.  in the meanwhile enjoy erik’s photos…

i did the century ride to montauk yesterday with team illustrado.  last time i rode out to montauk was with my track bike.  what was i thinking!?  this time we made sure we made it all the way out to the light house.  it was definitely worth the extra 6 miles.  just don’t eat the food there.  here are some random pictures…

as part of the release of the levi’s commuter pants, levi’s threw a party at the ace hotel.  outside, they had set up a few workshop and a free bike shop.  inside, was a free concert.  the best part was the free heineken and patron!
